Urban Bathroom - Beautiful metallic tiles on both the floor and the wall make this bathroom simply stunning. Nautical porthole mirrors in an antiqued brass finish combined with urban photos of street artist Banksy make this bathroom designed by Over and Above Design edgy and stylish. This was a difficult space to work with as it was so long and thin. The space had to be redesigned totally to accomodate the longer bathtubs preferred by Europeans. A finishing touch was a towel warmer to make the English feel at home!

Coastal Contemporary Bathroom - San Diego

Beautiful Beachy Bathroom- Contemporary and Coastal - this modern clean bathroom is perfect for a beach apartment. Over & Above completed this project in August 2011. The wallpaper is from Designers Guild and the lights are from YLighting. All the Shower and faucet/tap fittings are from Grohe. The tiles were from International Bath and Tile company in Solana Beach and the cabinet we fashioned custom by combining the base of one and the top of another. The refreshing result is a clean and stylish beachy bathroom.

Traditional Window Dressing - Hotel Wedding Venue

In this pavillion we hand sewed this traditional swag window dressing, ruched at the top. We used dark golds and taupes in the tivoli wallpaper, complemented by a lighter linen fabric from Linwood and bordered with a coordinated trimming. We created a formal backdrop to accommodate a wide range of functions, from weddings to conferences. Our challenge here was picking a colour palette that would work with an array of colours, flowers, branding, yet still maintain the elegance and proportional splendour of the Georgian building.

Renovated Rental - let immediately

This generously proportioned two bed flat in Clifton, Bristol UK was renovated within two weeks including new fitted cupboards in both the bedrooms, new curtains in the living room, new roman blinds in all the bedrooms, an entire repaint and new light fittings. The property was let the following Friday.

Investing on the interiors of a property will bring the right calibre of tenant, and if it is nicely furnished, the tenants will want to stay longer. Win win, minimal vacant periods as the property stands out, high calibre tenant, and longer rental periods.

Beautiful Beauty Salon

Sassy and chic - this beauty salon was designed to offer a more sophisticated appeal. Black and silver french mirrors and lamps, black brick tiles and contemporary sanitary ware. Starting with a neutral palette of olive greens and yellows, this developed into a colour theme throughout the salon. Each room is individual in style yet the colours flow throughout.

Black styling touches help to breathe life into the scheme.

What amazed me is how different the Dulux Egyptian Cotton paint seemed in each room. It looks like a shade of white in these pics but is actually very much an off-beige.

Sanderson Yellow Wallpaper

This room was totally transformed by the beautiful etchings and roses wallpaper. Sleek lines with the chrome and black marble side tables contrasted roughly with the raw slugs of the white linen shutters and the distressed dark wood floors.
